Barbara is a second-generation farmer who manages crops of rice, coffee, blueberries, and avocados. Working closely with her father and supporting other local farmers, she has embraced sustainable practices that are increasing biodiversity on and around the farm. Barbara combines innovation and stewardship by using drip irrigation, app-based water management for rice production, and mechanized planting and harvesting to improve efficiency while conserving resources.
