Chibuike Emmanuel began catfish farming after convincing a cable TV network to let him use unused land at a tower site for a fish pond. What started as a single pond has grown into an operation capable of producing up to five tons of catfish per cycle, while also supporting vegetable production using nutrient-rich pond water for irrigation.
