About

Vicente Bissoni Neto is a member of the Bissoni family, and has been working in Botuverá Group for the last twelve years, currently in the position of CEO. Botuverá Group is a family run business with 50 years of history in Brazil. The company is settled in Rondonopolis-MT and was initially founded as a transport company in the south of Brazil. The company now has about 300 trucks, produces soybeans and corn on over 35,000 ha, runs a livestock operation of about 20,000 head of cattle and sells diesel for producers. Vicente has been engaging with farmers from all over the world to discuss the challenges farmers are facing and what the future of farming looks like. He believes farmers need to leave their farms more and work more actively and closer to society. "Communicating is hard for us, succession planning makes us uncomfortable and we are being squeezed in market consolidating by suppliers and trading companies. Meanwhile, society is demanding more efficiency and sustainable farming. The only way we can succeed in this environment is sticking together and learning from each other." Vicente is a member of IBGC Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance and cofounder of a technology hub called AgroClub. He is a graduate mechanical engineer, with two MBAs and experiences worldwide. Vicente is happily married, has 2 kids and together with his wife he enjoys traveling, good food and music with friends.
