About

Shuichi Tokumoto is a Japanese farmer, entrepreneur, and Global Farmer Network board member who farms rice, corn, beans, and other crops in Tottori Prefecture. As president of Agri Corporation TREE & NORF Inc., he promotes science-based agriculture, sustainable farming, and technological innovation. He is the founder of the Japan Biotech Crops Network and a leading advocate for biotechnology, no-till farming, and digital agriculture in Japan.

Tokumoto is also a widely followed agricultural communicator through his YouTube channel and public speaking engagements. In 2024, he received the Global Farmer Network’s Kleckner Global Farm Leader Award for his efforts to advance sustainable agriculture and strengthen the voice of farmers worldwide. He volunteers as a board member for the GFN.
