About
Sara is a sixth generation farmer raising cattle and crops with her family in the United States-Iowa. In 2018, they built a 1,000 head barn that improves animal comfort and has a lagoon gathering manure to be used as fertilizer. She uses precision agriculture with GPS-guided mapping and iPad-managed rations that optimize feed efficiency and timing. Over the next 3–5 years, Sara aims to adopt safer, smarter technologies, and leave every acre better while keeping space for her sons to return. She believes farmers need a strong voice: direct conversations with consumers prevent misinformation and safeguard food security globally. An experienced educator and 4‑H leader, Sara focuses on telling a transparent farm story to youth and communities.
