Rene Lopez

Rene Lopez Fonseca is a third generation farmer. His farm has always been characterized by having the best technologies and innovation in the field, always participating in supporting research for the improvement of corn genetics, in implementing technologies such as GPS in tractors, land mapping, irrigation systems. Currently, he grows 500 hectares of corn in Guasave, Sinaloa:   75 hectares have a central pivot system, 70 hectares with pipes to avoid wasting water. As for the hybrids that he currently manages, he is a pioneer of the implementation of the VITALA system (short stature corn).   Click to watch bio
