Phonepaseuth Phaphou Ngeun

Phonpaseuth Phaphou Ngeun is the Coordinator of Lao Farmer Association. Lao Farmer Network is a network of farmer organizations established in 2014 to promote cooperation among farmer organizations. She is working on the challenges in farming: climate change; low product prices/high costs; young farmer decrease. Her mission is to create solidarity among Lao farmers and provide services to members that enables them to: 1. manage natural resources in an environmentally friendly manner; 2. produce quality products that meet market demands; 3. achieve fair and sustainable returns for their work; 4. improve the wellbeing of all members of farming families. Programs Phonpaseuth is involved in include: Strengthening organization of farmers and networks; Sustainable farming system; Income generation; Policy influencing.  Click to watch bio
