Per-Ola Olsson

I live on a Swedish family farm with my wife. My bonus daughter lives here part time. Normal crop rotation with wheat, barley, OSR and sugar beet. Sell everything to local dealers or processing plants. We also raise heifers for a neighboring farm. I injured my back a few years ago, so my family does the most work and I contribute with a gig as a columnist in about 30 Swedish newspapers. So now I get paid to use someone else’s platform to defend agriculture. I joined the GFN 2025. It feels like a fit. My family has always been farmers and many have cared for farming conditions. So do I. I like to talk, I´m a good writer and I´ve become quite good at storytelling and explaining modern agriculture and why people outside farming should care about it too. I volunteer as an MMA instructor and mentor for teenage boys on the wrong path.
