About
I am a biotechnology graduate and a practicing farmer based in Peshawar, Pakistan. I grow Plum and Peaches, and seasonal vegetables on a mid-sized family-owned farm using drip and canal irrigation systems. Our produce mainly supports local markets, though we've begun exploring small-seal e regional exports. As a second-generation farmer, I work closely with my family to implement sustainable and innovative practices while preserving traditional farming values. I joined the Global Farmer Network in 2023 and am also affiliated with the World Food Forum as a youth Representative and also for Horticulture Science and the Agriculture Research Institute Tarnab, where I completed a horticulture lab associate internship. I'm passionate about using scientific knowledge and global collaboration to improve food quality, farmer livelihoods, and environmental resilience. Beyond farming, I have experience as a Food processing and as a volunteer in local food safety and youth leadership programs. I am especially committed to helping reduce harmful practices in food processing industries that negatively impact public health.
