Jake Leguee

Jake Leguee is a third-generation grain farmer from Saskatchewan, Canada, where he farms with his family at Leguee Farms. The operation produces canola, durum wheat, lentils, flax, and other crops using innovative and sustainable farming practices. Jake is a recognized advocate for agriculture, serving in leadership roles with organizations including the Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission and the Canadian Wheat Research Coalition. A member of the Global Farmer Network since 2017, he is a frequent speaker on agriculture, sustainability, innovation, and public policy, and writes the popular blog A Year in the Life of a Farmer to help bridge the gap between farmers and consumers. Jake volunteers as a board member for the Global Farmer Network. In November 2026, Jake joined the advisory committee for the Nutrien Digital Agricultural Knowledge Centre at the University of Saskatchewan.
