Inota Cheta is a Zambian entrepreneur who turned a backyard poultry project into a national broiler enterprise and feed‑mill business. Her team pioneered free‑range feed concentrates that farmers blend with local grains—lowering costs and improving access through Zambia’s largest ag retailer. Beyond operations, Inota built the country’s largest women‑in‑agribusiness network, mentoring and training hundreds online and convening an annual conference in Lusaka. She’s focused on expanding feed‑mill capacity, securing direct supermarket contracts, and pairing feed access with contract farming—while strengthening advocacy so farmers have the information and support they need.
