About
I grew up on a farm as a second-generation farmer, where I learned the values of hard work and perseverance from a young age. At six years old, my family made a brave decision to leave the countryside in looking for a better economic opportunities, education, and living conditions. This rural exodus was challenging but instilled in me resilience and hope. At 17 years old, I chose to pursue agricultural studies at EARTH University in Costa Rica, where I gained invaluable cultural experiences working alongside students from over 20 countries. After graduation, I had different opportunities to work and chose to work with a multinational company, Del Monte, which allowed me to grow and lead a team of +2000 workers. This role shaped my professional journey and taught me the importance of determination and growth through challenges. Later, I took on new opportunities with Fyffes, expanding my expertise in agricultural projects, technology transfer, and sustainability across Latin America. I also started my own farm, producing bananas, lemons, and planning for future growth. My story is one of resilience, and continuous learning and growth.
