About
I, Ganesh Shamrao Nanote, a farmer residing at Nimbhara, Taluka Barshitakli, District Akola, Central India, own a total of 50 acres of farmland and a traditional farmer. I am a commerce graduate and I am into this profession from 1991 it’s been almost 35 years now. I joined GFN in 2022. During the Kharif season, I cultivate Bt cotton, soybean, pigeon pea (toor), and banana, while in the Rabi season, I grow wheat, chickpea, onion, and linseed. I have access to a well with drip and sprinkler irrigation systems, which I effectively use to manage crop water needs. I proudly stand rooted in my soil, growing crops with hard work, patience, and hope. Despite challenges from nature and market, I continue to feed my people and support the nation’s growth. I have proven through my personal experiments that even with the use of modern technology, the quality of soil can be preserved.
