About
I am an Agricultural Engineer living in Córdoba City, in central Argentina. My in-laws have a 280-hectare farm located about 300 km south of the city. I worked as a farmer there, and on other rented fields, for more than 24 years—until 2019, when I decided to stop planting due to poor national policies. On the farms, I grew soybeans and corn using the No-Till System. During 2018 and 2019, I worked with the African Development Bank AfDB), introducing and adapting the No-Till System in Ghana and Guinea, in West Africa. I also participated in a knowledge transfer project between the provinces of Córdoba (Argentina) and Eastern Cape (South Africa). I have been a member of the Global Farmer Network (GFN) since 2018, and of the Argentine No-Till Farmers Association (AAPRESID) since 2005. For the past four years, I have been working as an Innovation Expert in a bilateral cooperation project between the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany and the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Argentina. The project is a dialogue between the two countries focused on producing food in a sustainable way.
