About
I am a farmer and entrepreneur, daughter of smallholder farmers, and I lead Morena Agro — a family-run operation with 11,500 hectares in the Cerrado region of Mato Grosso, Brazil. We grow soybeans, corn, produce soybean seeds, and implement regenerative practices such as no-till farming, crop rotation and intercropping, integrated crop-livestock-forestry systems, use of biological fertilizers, and solar energy. I began my professional career as a teacher, and alongside my husband, have built a journey in agriculture that combines tradition, innovation, and a deep commitment to people. I believe agriculture is more than production — it is made of stories, relationships, and choices that transform both the land and the lives connected to it. I serve on the Rural Union of Tangará da Serra and am a member of the advisory boards of Agroligadas and APAE. I was honored with the Mulheres do Agro Award, of which I was an ambassador. I’ve participated in several talks, podcasts, and workshops on sustainability, people management, succession, and purposeful leadership in rural life. I’m proud to be part of the Global Farmer Network, exchanging experiences with farmers around the world, and advocating for a more human, sustainable, and collaborative agriculture.
